Designer Responsibilities

Specify differences between the 2 player characters

Create obstacles which complimented the abilities of the characters

Make sure Obstacles reacted differently between the 2 player characters

Create Menus which allowed both players to have input on every decision.

Make Level Layouts which required both players to work together to figure out how to progress

Make sure elements of the game remain noticable while maintaining the style and themeing.

Trials and Tribulations

Doing this project with little time and with pacing, quality, and minimum-number-of-levels as requirements, I had to plan for my scripted components to be extremely portable with a plug-in-and-play kind of use. I spent another week dividing the functionality of the components before actually starting on scripting. This paid off since level design was a breeze after that.

Although alot of testing was done with the first 6 levels, the harder levels beyond them were not as rigorously tested due to lack of time, and some do suffer soft-lock issues.
