Jouney to the Moon

  • Awarded "Best in Gameplay & Design" in "Merlion Animation Week 2016"

  • Art Responsibilities

    • Created all player and enemy models.

    • Created all player and enemy animations.

  • Scripting and Functionality

    • Created all player controls and enemy behavior.

    • Made sure animations and behavior were synchronized.

  • Designer Responsibilities

    • Made sure combat was fun and engaging, while still usable in puzzles.

    • Made sure enemies and bosses were balanced.

  • Trails and Tribulations

    • Playing combat and making combat are 2 very different things. Making a combat system requires balancing its complexity with how intuitive it is.

    • Because I was in charge of art, design, and scripting all at the same time, time management and crunch was a norm during this period.
